After apparently emerging from its recent bankruptcy troubles, Relativity Media has announced new release dates for four of its on-the-shelf movies, including the Zach Galifianakis comedy Masterminds and the Kate Beckinsale horror thriller The Disappointments Room, both of which were filmed in North Carolina and are now set to (hopefully) finally arrive in theaters later this year. ‘Masterminds’ Rescheduled For September 2016 Release

Filmed in and around Asheville and Charlotte, North Carolina and based on a true story that actually happened in Charlotte, the Zach Galifianakis comedy Masterminds was indefinitely delayed from its originally scheduled release this summer when Relativity Media filed for bankruptcy, but the film has now been rescheduled with a new 2016 theatrical release date.
