Charlotte, North Carolina native and Under the Dome star Britt Robertson will star in the next movie adaptation of a Nicholas Sparks novel, as The Longest Ride prepares to begin filming in Wilmington, North Carolina. Robertson will play Sophia Danko, a college student who falls for a young cowboy in Sparks’ dual-romance saga, according to Deadline. Scott Eastwood (Texas Chainsaw 3D) was announced last week as the male lead, playing the role of the cowboy, Luke Collins, opposite Robertson.
