‘Tusk’ Release Date Revealed

'Tusk' (2014), filmed in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Kevin Smith (Clerks, Red State) spent 15 days in Cramerton, North Carolina last November shooting his new horror film Tusk, and we now have a release date. Tusk will open in theaters on September 19, and you can expect the first trailer very soon, as Smith has announced plans to officially premiere it during the San Diego Comic Con next week, with the statement below!

‘Max Steel’ Adds Maria Bello [Now Filming]

Maria Bello has joined the cast of 'Max Steel', filming in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Dolphin Films and Mattel’s upcoming live action adaptation of the toy franchise Max Steel officially began filming in Wilmington, North Carolina earlier this month, and just today we learned that Maria Bello (Prisoners, Assault on Precinct 13) has joined the cast, presumably playing the titular hero’s mom. Andy Garcia Joins ‘Max Steel’ [Now Filming]

Dolphin Films and Mattel’s upcoming live action adaptation of the toy franchise Max Steel officially began filming in Wilmington, North Carolina this week, just as Andy Garcia (The Godfather Part III, Ocean’s Eleven) was announced as the latest addition to the cast. Garcia, who worked in Wilmington last year on Christmas in Conway, will play the brilliant and mysterious scientist Dr. Miles Edwards.

ABC will film the pilot episode of its new series Secrets & Lies in Wilmington, North Carolina, and the cast keeps growing, with four more additions announced today, including Indiana Evans (pictured below) of Lifetime’s recent Blue Lagoon reboot. Also joining the cast are Charles Dutton (Roc), Steven Brand (Magic City), and Kate Ashfield (Shaun of the Dead), according to Deadline.
